Here's how Tazzle 20 mg works and its relationship with hormones:

Mechanism of Action: Tazzle 20 mg is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It works by blocking the action of the enzyme PDE5, which is responsible for breaking down cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). cGMP is a molecule that plays a role in relaxing smooth muscle cells and increasing blood flow in the penis. By inhibiting PDE5, Tadalafil helps to increase the levels of cGMP, leading to improved blood flow and the ability to achieve and maintain an erection when sexually stimulated.

Hormones and Testosterone: Tadalafil does not directly influence hormone levels, including testosterone. It works primarily on the vascular system and does not interfere with the endocrine system responsible for hormone production.

Hormone-Related Erectile Dysfunction: While Tazzle 20 mg does not impact hormone levels, it can be effective in treating ED that is not primarily caused by hormonal imbalances. If a person's ED is related to hormonal issues, such as low testosterone levels, addressing the underlying hormonal imbalance may be necessary. In such cases, treatment options for hormone-related ED would be determined by a healthcare provider.
