The Cleveland Browns went for broke on Friday, engineering a trio of trades to bring in three-time Pro Bowl receiver Jarvis Landry from the Miami Dolphins, quarterback Tyrod Taylor from the Buffalo Bills and cornerback Damarious Randall from the Green Bay Packers.
The trades can't be formally announced until Wednesday, but the Browns' stalwart offensive tackle Joe Thomas didn't let that stop him from giving his review of the moves.
Whether he joins them on the field next season remains to be seen. The 10-time Pro Bowl selection reportedly told ESPN in an email his "decision will be based purely on my health."
Thomas missed games for the first time in his pro career last season after suffering a torn left triceps tendon in Week 7. He had played an NFL-record 10,363 consecutive snaps before the injury, making 167 straight starts dating back to his first game as a rookie.
Thomas posted an "emergency" episode of his ThomaHawk podcast on Saturday, and gave the team high marks for the acquisitions,

The 28-year-old Taylor passed for 2,799 yards,

Cleveland is sending a third-round pick (No. 65 overall) to the Bills for Taylor.
He also seemed excited about Landry's potential impact on the offense.
"You pair (Landry) with Corey Coleman and then a deep threat like Josh Gordon, that offense all of a sudden got really much more dangerous," Thomas said.
Cleveland reportedly gave up two draft picks -- a fourth-rounder in the 2018 draft and a seventh-round pick in 2019 -- for Landry, the first player to catch 400 passes over his first four NFL seasons.
