2009 NFL Wild Card Picks

Hello and welcome to my NFL Wild Card picks for the 2009 NFL Season. This season was amazing and it was especially fun to share my thoughts and feelings about this sport and its players with the Hubpages community. I definitely appreciated the comments, feedback and all the criticism. Week 17 was definitely not what I had expected from some of the teams especially the way they performed. That game was meaningless Cheap nhl jerseys to the Cardinals and they now have to prepare for the playoff game at home. Packers are on a roll and should win their playoff game against the Cardinals next weekend as well. Their defense is playing spectacular. Kurt Warner is known to make mistakes when he is playing from behind and I expect the Packers to jump on the Cardinals early and not let up. Packers win with a score of 28 20. I am still wondering if the Eagles quit in the second half offensively. They were penalties at the wrong time and there were too many bad passes and dropped balls. The run game was non existent. Brian Westbrook is still the difference maker and I believe Andy Reid is NFL jerseys cheap not going to him as much as he should. He is relying on Donovan McNabb to make the play by his foot or throw the ball that will rejuvenate the team. I am picking the Eagles to win this game because they have been the 6th seed and won on the road. I know Andy Reid can learn from his mistakes and hopefully the team will prepare better for this game. Final score Eagles 20, Cowboys 13.

AFC is going to be tough to pick as there are way too many good teams and all have been playing exceptionally well. Their defense has not been playing with the same tenacity as previous years. Their running game is superb, with Ray Rice and Willis McGahee running the ball their opponents have little chance. The Patriots on the other hand were dealt a big blow to their Super Bowl aspirations with the season ending injury to Wes Welker. Cheap authentic jerseys Wes Welker is quite possibly the most underrated wide receiver out there. He makes those tough catches in the middle of the field and gets rocked by linebackers on a weekly basis and he still manages to get up and catch the next pass thrown in his direction. How will the Patriots maneuver without Welker? Also it was reported that Tom Brady was playing with 3 broken ribs? I am not sure how reliable the sources are on this but that does sound painful and if Tom Brady ribs are even sore the Ravens are going to Wholesale coach handbags make sure he feels the pain all game long. I am picking the Ravens because Joe Flacco is good game manager and the Ravens are an excellent running team. Their defense has stepped up in big games and should do so on this day as well. Ravens win 23 17. The Bengals had little to play for in that game and majority of their starters were on the bench. Will the Jets be able to reproduce the same swagger in which the demolished the Bengals in New York? No I don think so, the Jets have to travel to Cincinnati and face the real Bengals team. The Bengals are still reeling from the death of Chris Henry their former wide receiver. It is their first playoff game in a few years and should bring a frenzy crowd in the stadium. This game will be a lot different from their week 17 match up. I am picking the home team to win this game with a final score of 28 20.
