The diamond segment is the most widely used cutting tool. What factors affect the cutting efficiency of the diamond cutter head?
1. Force effect, temperature effect and wear and tear: Diamond round segment will be subjected to alternating load such as centrifugal force, segment force and segment heat during the process of cutting stone.
2. Cutting speed: The cutting speed is the feed speed of the stone by the segment. Its size affects the rate of the segment, the force on the segment, and the heat dissipation in the segment area. Its value should be selected according to the nature of the stone being cut. Generally speaking, a stone with a softer blade, such as marble, can appropriately increase the feed speed. If the feed speed is too low, it is more conducive to increasing the segment rate. The coarse-grained, relatively homogeneous granite of the segment can appropriately increase the feed speed. If the feed speed is too low, the diamond edge is easily smoothed.
3. Diamond particle size: The commonly used diamond particle size is in the range of 30/35 to 60/80. The harder the rock is, the finer particle size should be chosen. Because under the same pressure conditions, the diamond is finer and sharper, which is good for segment rock.
4. Hardness of the bonding agent: Generally speaking, the higher the hardness of the bonding agent, the stronger the anti-wear ability. Therefore, when the blade is abrasive, the hardness of the bonding agent should be high; when the blade is made of soft rock, the hardness of the bonding agent should be low; when the blade is abrasive and hard, the hardness of the bonding agent should be moderate. .
5, the concentration of the segment: increasing the diamond concentration is expected to extend the life of the segment, because increasing the concentration reduces the average cutting force of each diamond. However, increasing the depth necessarily increases the cost of the segment, so there is a most economical concentration, and the concentration increases as the cutting rate increases.
6. Tool segment depth: Generally speaking, when the linear speed of the diamond round head is high, a small cutting depth should be selected. From the current technology, the depth of the diamond segment can be selected from 1 mm to 10 mm. Generally, when a large-diameter segment is used for granite blocks, the depth of the segment can be controlled between 1 mm and 2 mm, and at the same time, the feed speed should be reduced. When the linear speed of the diamond round segment is large, a large depth of cut should be selected.
7, the cutter head line speed: from the best segment life and segment efficiency, the line speed of the segment should be selected according to the nature of different stones. When the segment granite, the thread speed of the segment can be selected within the range of 25m to 35m/s.
