Adidas Originals‘ retro-futuristic Ozweego has appeared in numerous makeovers, and this lace Holiday Gift 2021 shroud-adorned version might be the most daring to date. Served in “Core Black/Grey Six,” this Ozweego is covered in a lace shroud that’s made from leather and is finished with wavy neon green detailing alongside matching adidas Trefoil branding and zig-zag topstitching.


Adidas brings us an upgraded and super strong version of the classic Ozweego. Joining forces with the Adidas Sneakers White Dyneema Project, the German brand presents an updated and all round retro futuristic iteration of the Ozweego. Originally launched in the late 90s, the shoes offer the same eccentric vibe of those days along with the necessary iconic eyestay, distinctive midsole lines and a translucent nylon support tube. This release arrives in a combination of Grey, Core Black, and Green Tint.


Adidas Originals will be expanding their thepickjoy Ozweego lineup this fall with a few new color blockings. One of those includes this new offering that features a solid Black base with suede overlays and an oversized leather shroud. Highlighting the shoe are Neon Green contrasting accents atop a speckled midsole.


Dropping in a brave inaugural colorway of “Core Black/Solar Yellow/Solar Red,” the Adidas Ozweego Celox Chalk White/Core Black takes the familiar trapezoid-shaped shoe and updates it with a light and flexible structured cage that’s sectioned by the “Solar Red” mesh underlays peaking through. Additionally, a sock-like inner bootie lends itself towards the rear to create a heel which is then supported by a structured heel clip adorned with an adidas-branded heel pul tab.
